I simply can't get excited for a guy in his forties who's faced no one of any real name yet and can't seem to stay out of prison finally stepping up against a guy who's about forty. Oquendo is a very solid fighter at his best, and he's maintained a fringe top 25 type level throughout his career. So, don't get me wrong. I know it's a step up. And if Mansour were, say, Deontay Wilder, I'd say "Oh, great. This will be useful for the state of the division to see if the young prospect can step up a bit and impress or learn." But what can you say when the prospect has been a prospect for better than 15 years? Where's this going? Mansour a pretty nice fighter and he's strong but where is it going? I'd be gladder to see Oquendo test a kid like Boytsov, Charr or Jennings.
