Cor that's a tough fight after way Abril fought against Rios. He's rangey and would present some of the same problems Mathews gave Gavin early on in both fights. In saying that, Rios was shocking, I never saw the Acosta fight but Miguel seems to be a shadow of his former self.

If anyone could pull off a shock it's Gavin because he's skilled and mentally so strong and he's used to fighting bigger men but as my boy HH said to me the other night during the Mathews fight. 'Gav needs to ruff it!' if he faces Abril.

I'd pick Rees to have a bit more success then Rios did against Abril, He's quicker and more elusive, still won't be enough to win though.

Well, Rees actually has a very good jab, and wouldn't just plod forward like Rios did, so potentially he could make it a tough night for Abrill. But I can't look past Abrill here. He handled Rios with such ease that he would have to be a firm favourite here. Rees would have more success that Rios did, but he'd lose on points for me

I really don't rate DeMarco. If I remember correctly, he was absolutely schooled by Linares for the first 8 rounds before Tony busted him up. He has a solid chin and can hit quite hard, but he wouldn't be able to take Gavin out IMO. It'll actually be quite a fun fight. The Mexican comes to fight (obviously) and Rees would oblige

He's just beat America's next big thing, now he might not be beating the offers away with a stick, but I reckon he could get himself a well enough paid fight over there.

For Gavin Rees, of course. It would be madness bringing in a fighter like Abril for him if you ask me.
