No idea why here or ESB have no threads about this with it being a fairly decent matchup, and one which opinion is quite divided on.

So whats your picks?

Just seen a pic of Frank, he's looking trim and mpre defined than I think I ever remember him looking. Do people really see Witter beating him?

I think people have had enough of Gavin. We know he is this massively talented fighter who has done absolutely nothing to show it in terms of progression in the pro game. I think its more a case of enough's enough get on with it and if you do the business we might start getting interested.

Outside of that, whilst its a good matchup, the fight itself is going to be appalling. Whoever wins its not going to be a good spectacle.

unfortunately so, i really really rate him, but the fact 4 years after turning pro hes fighting witter for the british title is such a waste, i thought by now he'd be looking at unifications and theres no reason he couldnt have been

I've been so disappointed with Gavin's progression since turning pro. I rated him so highly when he turned over, but he should have been at this level long ago. He had the talent to really push on and make something of himself in quick fashion but hasn't lived up to that potential at all. 13 fights in nearly four years as a novice professional is pretty shocking really and his performances haven't showed what he is capable of at all. I hope the lad can get back on track with a win here, but he has wasted a lot of time.

Good article about Witter by Dominic Ingle:

http://www.frankwarren.com/news/int...year-old-but-the-wisdom-of-a-38-year-old.html

"Whatever you want to read into it, Junior was mandatory and Floyd Mayweather gave the belt up because he didn't want to face Junior. Fact."
My god! I mean, just, my god!

Anyway, Gavin wins every round vs Witter. He is beyond shot now, and will spoil all night. Frankie will not et any respect for this win, and he'll look crap doing it. But he wins comfortably, and adds the British title.

Boredom and even more disappointment from Witter.
This is the gospel.

Gavin annoys me and Witter bores me. I hope Gavin wins and really picks up momentum after this but no doubt something will crop up. I'm now of the opinion that Gavin may aswell fuck off the learning fights etc and just go straight in with the best available from now on in.

Couldn't agree more.
