Grzegorz Proksa has been rewarded with a world title shot against Gennady Golovkin after reclaiming the European title.
The Polish middleweight, who is based in England, won back the belt after halting Kerry Hope in a rematch this month and he is now set to make his American debut against Golovkin.
Proksa challenges Golovkin for his WBA belt in New York on 1 September and he has vowed to burst onto the world scene with an explosive win.
"I have no doubt in my mind that I have the ability to knock out Golovkin," he told ESPN.
"My opportunity to showcase my talents to the world has arrived and I'm not going to let it slip away.
"This will be a difficult fight but I believe in myself to come out victorious and I'm going to bring an aggressive game plan for the fans.
"I'm coming to the U.S. to impress and take home the title."
