Explain:huh
He got hit by a jab and went down. Now, either that was a freak balence issue or it was something wrong with his chin. What I saw was a punch land on his head, his guard drop and his knees buckle as he fell. I rate Rigondeaux very highly but I recognise a bad chin when I see one. Maybe he will prove me wrong though, and if he turns out to have a good chin, the sky is the limit.

I don't think Rigondeaux has shown us much cause to call his chin questionable yet. I had another quick look at that knockdown, his glove touched the canvas and was rightly a knockdown. But he didn't seem really hurt by the shot and was upright within a split second. For what its worth ive never heard of never personally heard reports of him being down in the gym or as an amateur before either. But even if there was an off chance of his chin being fragile, it still wouldn't be a big issue, because his defense is simply superb, he isn't recklessness and he doesn't usually give his opponents opportunities to clock him clean. For a fighter like an Amir Khan, it a weak mandible is an achilles heel, for a fighter like Rigo, not so much.

Anyways, I think a lot of people make the chin issue of a fighter a bigger issue than it should be. The sky's the limit for Rigo, questionable chin or not:yep

I hear everything you're saying and I agree with it all man, but if he turns out to have a chin issue then there will be upsets later in his career that wouldn't have happened had he a better chin. His chin is suspect at the moment but it could be fine, not saying it's glass or anything.
