Hatton Promotions - TV Deal?

Just wondering if anyone has got any news or heard anything in relation to the Hatton Promotions TV Deal? Hatton Promotions were ditched by Sky and that's really the last I've heard about it. There's a promo advert banner on Hatton Promotions website at the top of the page displaying a logo that states Friday Fight Night with the words ...Coming Soon! beneath it.

I presume from this that Ricky's working on delivering regular events on a Friday Night - I also see that Box Nation appear to have kept most of their Friday night slots free although I've also heard rumours on other boxing forums about British Eurosport maybe being in a with a shout of showing Hatton shows. Maybe it's just pure speculation and before anyone starts on me (I don't really know anything about the TV Deal which is why I'm asking if anyone's head any more on the subject?).

So yeah, If you know anything discuss... likewise if you just want to speculate or have a view as to where you'd like to see Hatton Shows go?

then go for it

just a rumour DFTaylor. i get the feeling something could happen with a terrestrial channel ITV/Channel 5 involving Ricky coming back

Do you think he'll seriously come back? I suppose if it got him back on TV, but... it wouldn't bode well. He was looking in decline right after getting thumped by Mayweather. After that and the demolition job Pac put on him... it could be ugly.

I thought Hatton was decent fighter and, at times, on ESB that kind of makes you a big fan by default. Kinda like Tony Blair would be considered a Nazi if he were a member of the Poliburo.

I wouldn't like to see Hatton return any more than I'd like to see any other 32 year old pressure fighter return. That style is for the young guys.

You'll notice I left "big" out of my description ;)

Blair is a war criminal by any reasonable definition, though. Not Hitler-level (which is kind of like the Ray Robinson of modern genocide), but he's hanging around the Terry Norris area.

And yes, I agree. Frail skin, reduced punch resistance, and a lot of miles on the clock are just a recipe for agony.

what I don't really underatand is the rumours regaridng him fighting Mallignaggi in a comeback. Theres Guererro, Bradley, Alexander who he could face.
