An interesting move. He seems to fit the character and style of fighter they're promoting so far so makes sense. Yeah I'd like it, could be good for James :thumbsup

I think it's a good move, It's most likely he'll operate mainly over there and he's been around Floyd before in the gym so i think there is a reason they've signed him on. There up and coming, what they will need is a very good match maker which i remember many people said GBP needed when there young starlets were getting beaten.

Curtis and Floyd have the $$ and the people around them who've worked in the sport, it's going to be interesting viewing as they go head to head with the other promotions..

Can only be a good move really, thought Slips article was pretty much spot on the other day, his career has stagnated whilst he's the Euro champ, something needed to be done. Hopefully they can find him a better trainer over there aswell.

I take it if this happens he'll move over there and get rid of McDonell? Which could only be a good thing.

Good move imo. The exposure will do him good and he will likely have more doors opened to him in the future by hanging round with the big boys. If he moves over there he will probably get a new trainer and should get a much higher quality of sparring as well.

Sink or swim for him but if he's up to it it'll be a great move IMO. Needs a decent trainer too.
