Straightforward one - out of the above fighters, which one is your personal favourite? Not necessarily who you think the best out of the four was, just who you like the most.

Hearns is my personal favourite boxer of all time. Had a few things went differently for me this year I had hoped to see him being inducted into the IBHOF but didn't have the money for it. Still hope to meet him one day.

Saw Hearns fight on a Hamed bill in Manchester when he was about 76 years old, even though it was a nothing fight and he was way way way past prime I was still absolutely buzzing when he made his entrance. A proper legend.

Leonard. I was 10-11 when he was a welterweight and he was pretty easy to like at that age. I wouldn't say he got me into boxing as my Dad is a big fan but he was part of it.

I was at that Hamed card NJ (vs. Paul Ingle IIRC?), the Hearns fight was dreadful wasn't it?

Yeah, it was the Ingle fight. The Hearns fight was pretty terrible but I'm glad I stayed behind to watch it, just to say I got to see him fight. Was a bit gutted that so many people left before he came out, was a shame his debut in the UK was when he was so old and played out to a virtually empty arena, the man was worthy of much better than that.

Hagler. Always has been, always will be. I had a Hagvatar war with Boggle. That should say it all.

Durans the one I really appreciated as I got older, when I was the a kid he was very much the "bad guy".

Hearns for me. Love watching his style, especially when he was down at welter-light middle.

He was also in the most entertaining fights between the 4. Hearns-Leonard 1 = Best fight of the lot. Hearns-Duran = Devastating KO, perhaps my favourite KO ever. Hearns-Hagler =Legendary 3 rounds of fury. Hearns-Leonard 2 = Another great fight, shame about the judges but it was a great watch.

Hagler.

The battle he had to get people's respect and always being the outsider is something that resonates with me, as is always having obstacles put in his way.

His dislike of Leonard, being the apparent golden boy who got everything for nothing (clearly not true but by comparison....) also - it just strikes a chord.

It's completely different to those lame soundbytes that people like Victor Ortiz come out with, given that he's had everything his own way, more so probably than Leonard had... in fact there's no probably about it.

:deal This is basically what I was going to say. Hagler having a chip on his shoulder, always battling for respect is something I can relate to. Nothing was ever given to Hagler and he had to fight for everything.
