Polish heavyweight Krzysztof Zimnoch could face 50 year old Holyfield next

This past Saturday night, heavyweight prospect Krzysztof Zimnoch (14-0-1, 11 KOs) won a tough eight round unanimous decision over former WBC champion Oliver McCall (56-12, 37 KOs), nearly 50-years-old. Another 50-year-old boxer could be in his future. There some discussion about Zimnoch potentially facing former two division world champion Evander Holyfield (44-10-2, 29 KOs) on November 29th in Warsaw. Holyfield, who never officially retired, has not fought in two years.

This is a guy that struggled to "beat" 48 year old Oliver McCall by debatable decision on the weekend. So that'd be a combined age of 98 years old in just two fights! :lol: I wonder what the record is for that?

That is another issue. doesn't change the fact that alimony and child support in this country is down right theft.

He's fallen over his own ego, inept financial handling and bringing 9+ kids by several different mothers into this world. I know he was riding high many years ago, but who needs a 54,000 sq. ft. house with 109 rooms, 17 bathrooms, 3 kitchens and a bowling alley. When I heard about his house for the first time, I said he'd be broke before he retired. Athletes, especially boxers, tend to live way above the earning potential in their lifetimes. The "Make it fast, spend it fast" mindset leaves so many of them broke in later years.

Zimnoch's team reject Holyfield request

Boxing legend Evander Holyfield (44-10-2, 29 KOs) is facing a lot of financial problems in the United States and requested a high purse of $250,000 dollars to face Polish prospect Krzysztof Zimnoch (15-0-1, 11 KOs) on an October card in Poland. Zimnoch's promoter rejected Holyfield's financial demand and sent him a counter-offer. Zimnoch's team is waiting to receive a response from Holyfield. It was reported last week that Holyfield was being legally pursued over a child support of over $300,000 dollars.

Holyfield could really beat this guy.....hell, this dude almost lost to McCall, many people said McCall deserved the win and McCall has not a "preserved" body to be a good fighter at 50 years old if you know what I mean!
