http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/sport/story/205397.html#yK6cwT7Lu3MeoAfv.99Veteran IBF light-heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins has told Carl Froch that he wants him next, provided the Briton gets the better of Mikkel Kessler.
Despite being 48, Hopkins shows no signs of slowing down and he got his hands on the IBF light-heavyweight strap when meting out a first career defeat on Tavoris Cloud.
Super-middleweight Froch has been a fighter repeatedly linked with a crack at Hopkins and the American has left the door ajar for a fight, and would travel aboard as well, while also saying he would be happy to face Canadian Lucian Bute as well.
Froch faces Kessler on May 25 and a win, coupled with Hopkins taking care of mandatory challenger Karo Murat in New York on July 13, could put the pair on collision course.
"I want fight Carl Froch if he beats Kessler, and Lucian Bute if he beats Pascal. I would go [overseas] for either one," Hopkins said.
