Solid but unspectacular though so far, IMO.

It will struggle to be worse than last year, which despite some good events was let down by some very dissapointing and underwhelming big fights.

I've been enjoying it so far.

We've had good fights like Hernandez-Cunningham and Juanma-Salido 2. Then Froch made me jizz everywhere.

Then there's all the Chisora-Haye stuff that's been sauce.

I'm liking it so far.

Pretty good I reckon. Mayweather v Cotto exceeded expectations and Haye v Chisora could produce something completely mental.

Summer schedule is looking top class as well IMO.....

Pac v Bradley, Haye v Chisora, Khan v Garcia, JCC Jr. v Lee, Quigg v Munore, Ioka v Yaegashi, Chambers v Adamek, Matthysse v Soto etc. with more to come. Could turn out to be a great year :good

Forgot about Pirog v Golovkin! Is that definitely on? Read somewhere about the WBO not sanctioning it, has Pirogs team commented about it yet?
Not heard or read anything about WBO. You've got Geale v Sturm too. Really hope Golovkin gets Pirog, the guy needs to be out there to as big an audience as possible. A Pirog fight gets the ball rolling.

It's been OK, I'm enjoying it but we'ver had alot of the more major fights getting put off due to injury or PED problems. Although we've had some good un's already, Salido-Juan Ma 2, Crolla Matthews, Cotto Mayweather etc. etc.

Seems to have been a lot of tragedies outside of the ring this year but inside I think it has been good. Mayweather-Cotto and Pac-Bradley are two good fights imo compared to Ortiz and Mosley. Haye-Chisora should be fun, Khan is fighting for a world title again, Froch off the back of a career best win setting up another big fight later in the year and Kell Brook probably win a world title later this year. British scene going well and I think GBP and TR are, for the most part, doing a decent job putting on good cards.

Its been a pretty decent year imo - Lopez-Salido 2, Froch-Bute, Mayweather-Cotto, Cunningham-Hernandez 2 all were decent fights.

We have got rid of Mosley and Winky who needed to retire and there are some good scraps to come or in the pipeline in Pacquaio/Bradley, Dawson/Ward, Chavez/Lee, Geale/Sturm, Golovkin/Pirog etc.

It has been let down a bit by injuries and drug failures but a solid second half can make this a pretty good year. I thought last year was an excellent year for boxing.

Controversial (when isn't it) and somewhat tragic of late. We've had, a good year thus far I believe. Still high over the Froch win, more the manner he won rather than the fact he won, though I was delighted. Cotto-Mayweather exceeded my expectations and due to channel 5, boxnation and sky's continuing broadcasts it's been a good year for getting my two boys more interested in the sport as a whole.

There are some good fights to look forward to as well and despite the negative reporting over the upcoming Haye-Chisora bout, the overall profile of the sport in Britain is higher than I've known it for some years. Tyson Fury, with all his flaws, is television gold. Tragic with the loss of Tapia and Paul Williams' terrible accident. Frustrating with the decision of Chad Dawson to move down for his fight with Ward. Never, ever been a fan of a fighter moving down. Ward, for all his talents, is beginning to put me off of him with his insistence that all the cards are stacked in his favour.

Golovkin/Pirog should be an excellent fight too. All in all, above average for me.

There have been some good world level fights made but i haven't been too impressed domestically this year to be honest. Although i'm
really looking forward to Quigg/Munroe and Rees/Mathews there have been too many fights that haven't been made.

2012 has been slow enough int eh first half of the year, but its set to take off in the second half of the year, with a lot of very good fights already signed and upcoming. The middleweight division especially is coming alight in the next couple of months.

Well this year I went to Froch - Bute which is the single most amazing night of boxing in my life (closely followed by Haye v Ruiz). So personally it's been pretty special.

That aside we've seen some huge fights and whilst the biggest fights haven't happened plenty of good shit has and for that reason, I say yeah it's been a good year.
