Well I know nothing about cars but I thought that they had a reputation for looking good but lacking durability. Also pack a fair bit of power. This isn't a popular view but: Alpha's are boring, they're a boring person's idea of something elegant and racey. Rather like Russell Brand is a square's idea of an eccentric.
