The only way to really get people to pay for ppv and tickets etc is by hyping the fight up and trash talking.

Yes, i'd do it, even though a lot of the online community is going to call you names and stuff, it's all about the $$$ in the end

I'm a quiet guy in general but I think I'd like this side of it. If I was a pro boxer I'd definitely still be on forums, answering questions on twitter etc and look forward to press conferences and interviews.

I think I'd try to play a few mind games as well.

definitely, i'd piss about in front of the cameras on 24/7 so much, make my opponent think i wasnt up for it, but id secretly be ready as fuck. i thought thats what JCC Jr was doing against Martinez, turns out that was his actual training routine haha

I'm really not that kinda guy.
I really dislike louthmouths and sometimes I even get vicarious shame when I see some of them going all out.

So no, I probably would't do that. Even if it means having a lesser (financial) career because of it.

Has any South Wales amateur ever become a pro, JC?
been a couple I guess, Jimmy Wilde did ok and that italian lad Calzaghe done alright for himself i suppose ;)

i really wouldn't, South Wales has produced a strange number of good fighters yet is often overlooked in favour of places like London/Sheffield/Manchester as hotbeds of boxing
