If an opportunity presented itself, it'd be rude not toI swear half the forum would rim Hearn given the opportunity.
He's a promoter. Of course he's gonna be like a salesman. The way he speaks? He's like a salesman, he's telling you what you want to hear. He's already been exposed doing some of the things he speaks out against.
The double standard applied to Hearn is hilarious. He does the exact same things Warren gets lambasted for, but it's ok because Hearn is "open" and "pleasant" about it?He's a promoter. Of course he's gonna be like a salesman.
But I'd rather have a salesman that seems to enjoy what he's doing rather than a cunt of a one that sues anyone with an opinion.
Like I already said, he's not perfect and at the end of the day he is just another promoter but the way he does it and goes about his business in a fan-friendly way makes him seem likeable. Just my opinion and preference of course. The double standard applied to Hearn is hilarious. Neither Frank nor Eddie are particularly trustworthy. Always remember: his biggest signing was built by another promoter, and the single biggest fight he's staged was a complete joke between Haye and Harrison. There are inescapable facts.
But are you saying the same shit about Warren doing a good 'promoters job' with Cleverly getting a load of easy title fights with little risk and building up a fan base in his native country ?Like I already said, he's not perfect and at the end of the day he is just another promoter but the way he does it and goes about his business in a fan-friendly way makes him seem likeable. As for the Haye/Audley fight, I still struggle to see how he can be criticised for that too much. Sure it was complete bullshit from an outsiders point of view but in terms of him promoting Audley, he did an absolutely incredible job. He got him publicity with winning an awful prizefighter series, pretty much gifted him the European title and then got him a huge pay per view domestic heavyweight fight that was seen by millions. Not good for boxing fans at all but a great achievement as a promoter. These are inescapable facts.
Liking him surely doesn't get him a pass. I like my senior client, but he's still a complete cock to work for.Like I already said, he's not perfect and at the end of the day he is just another promoter but the way he does it and goes about his business in a fan-friendly way makes him seem likeable.
