The Problem Child Jake Paul will take on Tommy "TNT" Fury in Saudi Arabia on Sunday 26th February. The event will be screened on BT Sport Box Office in the United Kingdom and on ESPN+ PPV Stateside. The fight will be contested over 8 rounds (or less) and is reportedly at a 192lbs catchweight which should suit the Brit just fine as he's always over the light-heavyweight limit anyway.

It's finally on and time to settle the dispute like men.

Neither of these two have much of a resume in boxing and to make this farce a PPV event is ludicrous. But there are people that are stupid enough to plop down their good money to watch these two put on what is basically amateur hour.

Hopefully Fury will eke out a win and maybe quiet down that internet clown Jake Paul. I see it Fury by Decision because he's doesn't seem to be much of a power puncher.

So it's not at 192lbs but at 185lbs, this was confirmed by Paul and he also says there is a rematch clause in his favour should Fury win. 185lbs is very good news for Fury, it's going to take me a bit longer to pick a winner.

Also heard that John and Tyson have vowed to expel Tommy from the family if he loses to Paul, his invitation to the annual Christmas dinner will be rescinded.

I hope there's no funny business, a lot of people are already calling this a draw in order to setup another pay day, I don't want to see anything scripted, Tyson says Tommy inside 6 but worryingly he also says that when Tommy wins he could fight KSI, I mean this fight is just about acceptable but KSI afterwards...

I do think Anderson Silva is the best win on their joint resumes though

So this farce is topping the bill with the WBC cruiserweight title fight on the undercard? :ROFLMAO:
Not the first time far more credentialled boxers have fought bigger fights under Jake Paul.

Jake played a supporting role, when he knocked out Nate Robinson, to Tyson VS Jones Jr and Badou fought below him on the card.

Regis Prograis fought under Jake VS Askren

I may be wrong but I think even Billy Joe Saunders defended his title one an undercard to him once. Or maybe another similar type youtube fight

With a fortnight to go, talkSPORT caught up with Tommy Fury who spent 12 minutes dismissing any idea at all that Jake Paul could win or even hurt him. He is sure that the fight won't go the distance and says he'll retire if he were to lose.

This is very concerning not because of what he's saying but because I believe he firmly believes all this. The contradiction however is Fury constantly going on about how hard he's training and the quality of who he is sparring for this fight, if that's all true then perhaps he doesn't really believe Paul is a joke. Because he isn't a joke anymore, he used to be back when they first signed to fight but today he's the bookies' favourite.

With just 2 weeks to go Paul is 8/11, Fury is 5/4 and the draw is 12/1. So the "Youtuber" losing will be considered an upset with the professionals.

At the end of the video the co-host turns to Darren Bent and puts it to him that if he had to put £50,000 on the outcome he wouldn't do it to which Bent said actually he would, he'd put it on Fury but I think I agree with the man posing the question, I wouldn't bet either way if it was my last £50k, there isn't enough to go on.

Unlike Mr Bent I don't think because he's Tyson's brother that this is a forgone conclusion, it's 50/50.

Must be some shit sparring partners.
Hard to believe Tommy has just recently turned it up and is hospitalising the types of blokes who come in for rounds against the likes of Anthony Yarde, Callum Smith, John Ryder etc

Makabu said he's going to break Jack's chin, nose and ribs I think it was, a very long press conference, the Saudi's love to talk about the long-term boxing project and also clap every sentence spoken by "his royal highness" but after an hour the main event participants appear, Paul with his business partner and co-founder of MVP and Tommy with his father.

The question that lingers and I suppose won't be answered before fight night is who is worse between these two? Both have fought nobodies, worryingly Paul has a higher KO% and is the bookies' favourite and I'll have to assume has the better trainer in BJ Flores too but Fury despite only fighting cans and once in a blue moon, has more boxing experience if you include his amateur run too (albeit very short) and moving around with the world heavyweight champion and being able to sponge off him must count for something in his favour.

This fight is scheduled to go 8 and as Paul keeps pointing out, Fury has never seen the 7th round before. He's also never headlined a card, ringwalked first or fought anyone with a winning record. I'm still on the fence, waiting to see the weigh in first but I'm leaning Paul ever so slightly at this point

Neither would be in the top 300 in the world at cruiserweight and yet here we have a multi-million dollar event in a country foreign to both. Go figure.

Only of any interest because it may be well matched at any level, well matched fights can be fun to watch.

Tommy Fury with way more to lose and looking tense. Paul content to just wind him up.

Let's take a look at the odds with less than 10 hours to go until the first bell

Paul - 10/11
Fury - 11/10
Draw - 9/1

I've heard a few rumblings about the low odds on the draw, we've gone from 12 to 9 in less than 7 days but we do have to bear in mind this is only scheduled for 8 so obviously the likliehood of a draw is enhanced than that over a championship fight. The gap has closed on an outright winner almost to parity, Paul now an ever so slight favourite after the weigh in however I noticed there's been some unsual too activity on "Fury To Be Knocked Down In Round 1 & Round 6, Paul To Be Knocked Down In Round 4" too many people appearing to like that bet forcing the book to close at least temporarily. I woudn't be surprised if Fury hit the canvas though, the expectation on him from some fans is based on nothing they've seen so far in his career and solely on the fact he's Tyson's little brother so he "must" be good
