Everyone knows i'm a big fan of G$ora, but I honestly think this 10 rounds business will lead to Haye being robbed as pre-planned by Allegedly!

I expected a 12 round fight, with G$ora maybe weighing in at 235lbs in the best shape of his life & warming up for the last half to perhaps stop a tired Haye on his feet in 11/12. But as a notoriously slow-starter & at 247lbs how can G$ora have the workrate to grind Haye down, especially over only 10 rounds? Quite simply I predict Haye wins the first 5 rounds in a row with speed, timing & power, then with enough bodypunching G$ora takes 3 of the final 5.

Then as the scores are announced... 6-4, 6-4, 4-6... to the winner by Split Decision - Dereck "Del Boy" Chisoraaaaaa! :-(

... This leads to Allegedly attempting to negotiate G$ora-Povetkin & then G$ora-Wlad.

You really think Haye will be active enough to really have a claim to being robbed?
I have the opinion that if the judges had given Valuev the nod in their encounter, he wouldn't have had any right to complain about that either.

What is possible is that Haye drops Chisora once or twice and still ends up on the wrong end of the score. Then it might be a robbery.

The way you've pictured the fight doesn't sound that much like a robbery to me, even if Chisora gets the decision.

Del boy ain't getting no decision though. The only decision on Saturday night will be how long the referee lets the beating go on.

Haye winning 7 rounds to 3 and getting scored out of it doesnt sound like a robbery?

I'm still on them, working a treat.

I've yet to call for Haye to be marched through the streets of London and have stale fruit and veg thrown at him before being put out of his misery at the Olympic opening ceremony, so I'm making steady progress.

Thanks for asking though :good

I doubt Allegedly could organise a robbery here if he wanted to. Team Hayemaker have always proven to be shrewd negotiators and I would be surprised if they didn't have a say in the selection of the judges for this fight.

Let's not forget the close fights Hayemaker were involved in went their way (Haye-Valuev and Groves-Degale). Allegedly didn't have much bargaining power here either.

Well Haye has a shit workrate against tall guys like Valuev, Fraudley, Wlad... but he was decently active throwing big stuff against Barrett & Old Ruiz.

G$ora is such a slow-starter, the first half could look as one-sided as RJJ-Ruiz, with the Salesman dodging slow bullets like Neo.

I see your point about the knockdowns could possibly happen, but i don't see anyone getting dropped tomorrow night.

P.S: I agree the Valuev fight could've been 7-5 either way, or a Draw. On the night, I & three others scored it for Niko.

Seriously now?
I can remember following the RbR at ESB and most people had it very close like me... ridiculing Haye's running, and no one expecting Haye to get the win with such a close fight in Germany.
You score boxing on clean and effective punching, ring generalship and defence. Not what you expect corrupt judges to be saying.

It was about being close. You said it wasn't, I said it was.
I had it a draw, and most people had it very close if not for Valuev, so not "many more rounds for Haye" like you believe.

edit:
Here's the RbR thread (just found it)

I genuinely had it close too. Haye was just running for large parts of the fight, which was what made it close IIRC.

Oh, and about the judges: let's not forget that Sauerland could make more money off Haye if he got the belt than off an aging Valuev who had no fanbase - apart from Boxed Ears, of course. Hence the boxers' reactions after the fight.

Edit: just seen the above post. I haven't actually rewatched the fight since, nor have I got the stomach to do so, so you can safely ignore this post, scrappylinks.
