It's as much a possibility as anything else. Until Brook actually proves himself, I'm going to err on the side of him getting flattened.

tbf its devon alexander, maybe if it was a pacquiao type figure then i could see it but i think brook should be ok here, and tbf he's done nothing to suggest he's easily stopped

Brook hasn't shown a particularly weak chin though and Alexander is a relatively feather fisted fighter so I can't really see that outcome being likely. I'd say if either is getting stopped then it will be Alexander

I love fanboys. Matthysse, Maidana and Bailey couldn't put him away, but Kell Brook will? We KNOW Alexander has a good chin and can grit it out. The hammering he took late on from Matthysse shows that. We don't know that Brook can take a great shot and we've already seen him in serious trouble from Jones.

Yeah, this. It's absolutely ludicrous to think Brook will stop Alexander. And feather fisted is an oversight too, look at his stoppage of Urango for proof of that.

Not a "fanboy" at all I actually think that Alexander will win quite wide on points. Alexander has a solid chin but I don't think it is an iron chin or anything like that. Brook was in trouble against Jones but he also showed he can grit out a win like against Jones, and he took some very solid shots from Jones but didn't really look like going down. Alexander has only ever stopped one guy at world level (Urango) that was more than 2 1/2 years ago and hasn't really looked like stopping any of his opponents since then. Ill be very surprised if Brook gets stopped, but I don't think Brook has the skill set to beat Alexander on points.

And? Brook brings different qualities to the table, he's not as brute and naturally heavy-handed as Matthysse and Maidana, but he's a sharp, clean puncher with some power and excellent timing and accuracy when he's at his clinical best. And more likely to land his best shots than Bailey. Alexander isn't unstoppable here, it's more than conceivable that Brook can stop him. I don't think he will, but there's a solid chance.

There's a slim chance, hardly solid since Brook hasn't stopped anyone at world-level. He's barely scraped stoppages at Euro-level.
