What Amir Khan knows about promoting boxing you could write on the back of a postage stamp and sign ' @SimonTemplar ' underneath.
 In caps.

Has Khan not seen what happened to Audley? When a flawed fighter starts distracting themselves from the business of fighting it does not go well. He's just prioritizing money over optimizing his success in the ring, while not realizing that it is the success in the ring that would bring the real money.

Amir struggles running a bath, how the heck is he going to run a company, his team of taxi drivers around him are no better, so that's them out.
And what sort of muppet would sign with them? So it will just be a case of promoting the family fighters. Both of them. What a waste of time sideline - it's not as though Khan's defeats were down to problems caused by his promoter.

It's not going to do his confidence any good when every fighter turns him down, I have picture in my head where Khan holds an open day, any boxer can come and talk to the great man and get down to business, after 8 hours nobody has turned up, Khans depressed and ready to pack it in, when suddenly there is a knock at the door, Amir's little face lights up and he run's excitedly to open it, I can imagine the look of dissapointment when he realise's it's just Saj who got lost earlier while on a biscuit run.

Funny, and also probably true.

He'll probably get a load of lower Asian country boxers who look up to him to sign up with the company. I really hope they hire a PR man to train them because if they are getting advice of Amir then they are goosed. Don't see this going very far to be honest.

Every half decent boxer thinks they can start a promotion company these days - ODLH, Hatton, Calzaghe, Mayweather Jnr, Klitschko, Khan. When's it going to end, are we going to get Peter Buckley promotions specialising in journeymen etc
