Kubrat Pulev Not Pleased With Facing Adamek in Poland
Posted by: Boxing Bet on 1/7/2013 .

A final IBF heavyweight eliminator between former two division champion Tomasz Adamek (48-2, 29 KOs) and the EBU titleholder Kubrat Pulev (17-0, 9 KOs) will likely take place in March or April. The location of the bout is still unknown, but according to recent reports the organizers want stage it in Adamek's native country of Poland. Predictably, Pulev is not raving over these plans.

"I heard that our fight may take place in Poland. If it happens, it will go against me. In Poland everything will be on Adamek's side, especially the judges. I'd be very happy if that fight was staged in Sofia [the capital of Bulgaria], but there is no chance for that," Pulev said to Bulgarian media.

31-year old "Cobra" is going to Germany soon, where he will start his preparations under the watchful eye of his trainer, Otto Ramin. Pulev realizes that the win over Adamek will give him an opportunity to face the heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko (59-3, 50 KOs). However, the older Klitschko brother, Vitali, says that Pulev doesn't stand a chance of winning such bout.

"I respect Pulev, but I have to say that I don't envy him if he encounter my brother in the ring," Klitschko told in the interview for Bulgarian channel TV 7.
