Massive step back surely? seems a strange one for me. I can't even remember the first fight, was it that close and deserving of a rematch?
Bellew was put down i think? :think but there's no one else i can think of out there for him now, might as well get this over and done with and keep the lonsdale

Won't happen IMO. If it does, I wouldn't be too upset. So far we hae Froch / Kessler, Bellew and Groves. We may get Camacho / Clark II as well. Not bad going

A shame they're putting out a title defence for Shane Singleton already considering the controversy surrounding the fight with Curtis Woodhouse.

Purdy vs Witter is an interesting one. I'd expect a comfortable win for Purdy but I imagine it's a fight that could happen.

Not that good either Vano. Another strong fight would be nice.
I think we'll see Groves in some kind of eliminator. I think it's solid to be honest, especially 10 weeks away

I think there is still plenty of time to get a half decent name for groves. Probably see Purdy out as well, Larry Ek, Martin J Ward.

Stop being sceptical Gaz! It'll be in 3D and it'll be new age.

It was never gonna be that good an undercard for obvious reasons. If we get to see Groves in some kind of half-decent fight, as well as a Bellew/Ajisafe type fight and then a few of Eddie and Sauerland's prospects in easier fights I'll be happy enough tbh.

A couple stand out for me. Sorry if already been discussed but not read the thread.

Regards Bellew, well all I can say is, isn't this a little bit too close to the Chilemba fight at the end of March? Can see this getting put back if Bellew is in a war with Chilemba. As the Chilemba fight I fear is not going to be a stroll in the park for Bomber. Although I really do hope he comes through unscathed.

As for Nick Blackwell. Really made up for him. I thought as I predicted beforehand that he would give BJS all sorts of problems and he did just that. Indeed, Frank's timekeeper got in on the act in the last round as a result.

But, and this is a big but. Blackwell has the potential to go quite a way in the game, certainly he has shown he is at the top at British level and certainly a Euro title down the road is not out of the question.

However, if he were to face someone like BJS again too soon, I can see him racking up too many losses, which at this stage of his career he doesn't really need, if he is to realise his potential.

*note - Blackwell bias particularly as he lives in the same town as me.

Its a good idea to keep him busy and to get him fighting on that night in particular. Its Pascal-Dawson that night so it makes sense putting him on and getting him talked about. Better than waiting.
