John McDermott is always very nervous before fights. He usually has a priest bless him before the ring walk. True story.
Yeah he does get very emotional before a fight.
WAAAAAAAAAAR BIG BAD JOHN!!!
10-9 Big Bad John.
Cautious opening round from both but McDermott just about shades it. John flicking out the jab a lot and occasionally firing the overhand right but the two tie up in close.
Skelton not starting at the pace I expected. McDermott landed a few solid straight rights over the top. 10-9 McDermott
Skelton should have no problem once McDermott gets tired
Skelton roughing things up a bit in the 2nd round and starts to land the cleaner shots. He takes the round for me.
Difficult round to score. I liked McDermott's workrate early, but thought Skelton nicked the round late.

29-28 Skelton
Yeah tough round, I'd just edge to Skelton for the better work.
Good 4th round for McDermott. Landing some big shots and controlling the pace of the fight, backing up Skelton at times. 38-38 even on my scorecard.
Much better from McDermott. He pushes Skelton back and lands three solid right hands. I have it level after 4
Close 5th. Skelton just edges it for me. He's more aggressive this round and smothers McDermott in close. Both landing some decent body shots and hooks on the inside.

48-47 Skelton
Better round for McDermott but very tough to score. I got it level after 6.
This comedian guy they've got next to them in the commentary
Good from McDermott! I have him 58-56 up. Wasn't such a low shot either IMO
Johnny Nelson level analysis.
A few solid jabs from McDermott. Even tripling it up. He is taking over IMO.

68-65 John
