Anybody else looking forward to this? I've seen Del Valle a few times and really think he is a top prospect. This fight with Vic looks to have come at the right time.

A win and an exciting performance over a name, even if he has faded, would be a great boost to his career. I'm really excited by the amount of potential in the lower weights at the moment and I hope Del Valle will turn it on tomorrow

At this point, a win over Vic is of greatly lowered value. I expect Del Valle to put too much on him, if he's as formidable as I think he is. Darchinyan has hit a gatekeeper status, except because he's so confident in himself, and has such cojones, he'll still fight whoever is there, and I don't think he's accepted his status as a gatekeeper for fresher talent.

You notice how Vic starts out weird but the more comfortable he gets, the weirder he gets? I love that. He makes Vitali and Froch look like Joe Louis.

Just watched the fight, gotta give kudos to the young kid too he stuck in there and even had Vic wobbled near the end. Impressive performance from the raging bull.
