Shock! There was only ever going to be one guy it was, just said on his twitter, now just waiting on Hearn to do his announcement where I reckon he announces a show in Hull headlined by Coyle or Selby

Campbelss probably the least appreciated British boxing medallist in the last 50 years.
really weird isnt it? whats that about? i was thinking yesterday that theres not a lot of hype around him considering hes a Gold medallist, and isnt he the most medalled amateur for Britain? Plus he looks like he'll make a great pro, and has been on terrestrial entertainment shows, could he have done anything more?

Looks like its headlined by Coyle-Mathews for the Commonwealth, this had to be the easiest announcement to work out ever, and people still didnt get it

Britain's most decorated amateur and took a gold medal amongst a very good field of boxers without any Joshua-type controversy. The question is whether he is as suited to the pro game. I'm hoping the bill will be stacked because the Hull fans would come out in droves just for Campbell in a four rounder. The English Zou Shiming.

Eddie says Luke will be the main focus of the Hall card (either on July 6th or July 13th, likely at the KC Stadium). Coyle vs Matthews for the Commonwealth Lightweight title, and we could see the return of Kell Brook also, with Lee Selby vs Samir Mouneimne also on the bill

I would've thought he would be at SBW, maybe Feather.
Hes not going to be big enough for people like Broner/Burns etc surely?

EDIT: Apparently he's 5'9, still a big jump from bantam though

There is absolutely no way Luke is 5ft 9. I've spoken to him face to face and he's shorter than me (I'm pushing 5ft 8)

It'll be interesting.

TBH though i'm not overly excited, our Olympic medalists of the last few years have had mixed success, it'll be interesting to see if Campbell is serious or if he's another one who'll dissapear up his own ass
