is apparently Leeds' Kurt Bromberg.

Bromberg has a 5-1 record and in his most recent fight (18 months ago) defeated Kevin Hammond, who had two close fights with Martin Concepcion.

A mate of mine is heavily involved with the local Muay Thai gym where Kurt sometimes trains.... I think NO MAS knows him actually, though I might be wrong.

Can't really read too much into his record, but by all accounts he really fancies the job. If he does pull off the upset, Iceferg's dream of seeing Eubank Jr vs Froch next year will obviously go up in smoke.

Iceferg is a legend!

I bet the people who went overboard on the Eubank Jr hype when he first went pro are regretting it now. He's a good prospect and should be left to develop and mature as a fighter properly. This isnt a bad fight for him at this stage of his careeer.

I hate that shit where a fighter is built up to a huge degree before hes even fought for pay. All the fanfare before he fights, the interviews with his dad after every time he fights, the lame replays of his jump's over the top rope, and the big expectations for him are all not helping him.

Good fight for Chris, He needs to stay at this level for a fight or two. Has a few technical aspects that need brushing up on. These guys he is fighting have winning records and come to win but at same time aren't to risky. Smart match making no need to rush the lad he's got time on his side.

There was talk of a Southern Area title fight but maybe that will be next up.
