I know its a slightly obscure thing to talk since it doesn't really affect me much at all but thought I would at least give Main Events some appreciation for the work they are doing putting boxing on US network TV. They have announced recently that Malik Scott (35-0) will be facing Glazkov (14-0) in February and below are a few of the matches they have brought to Network TV in the past or very soon:

Judah-Paris
Jennings-Liakovich
Rosado-Soto Karass
Adamek-Chambers
Jennings-Collins
Adamek-Cunningham 2
Glazkov-Hamer
Campillo-Kovalev

On paper, a lot of these are/were pick 'em fights or at the least interesting, the type of match-making needed to sell Boxing to new audiences. A big contrast with Mick on Channel 5.

It isn't network TV mate. It is the NBC Sports Network rather than NBC

That said, they have done a good job
You're right, just had a read of a Dan Rafael piece about the relationship. Adamek-Cunningham 2 was on regular NBC as it had a peak of around 3m viewers. The preceding fights were successful on the NBC sports network which has meant Main Events has been given the opportunity to do more cards on there and a few cards on regular NBC in the future.

On the subject, Scott vs Glazkov is a good fight. That's cropped up out of nowhere, and certainly not an easy opponent for the latter as he looks to climb the HW division. Really looking forward to that.
