Apparently Malignaggi has told RingTV: "Seems like that's [Malignaggi-Mosley] the plan." Obviously the original plan was for Malignaggi to rematch Ricky Hatton around this time but that got derailed.

It's an interesting fight in a way, but I'd rather Mosley just stayed retired tbh.

Be an interesting fight, Pauli has nothing to trouble Shane and Shane will be far the stronger man, just a little too slow at this stage. Possibly a Pauli Decision

A really odd fight if it does happen.

I think Shane would win, probably on points.

Paulie's legs aren't what they were, and he doesn't have the firepower nor accuracy to make Shane think twice about opening up, the same way that Floyd, Pac and Canelo had.

Hitting Margarito a thousand times must have ruined him.

Is there no one else on the circuit whose good enough that Mallignaggi can fight? seems he's trying to fight some big names but most of the big names are now in retirement. he was talking up a trilogy with Hatton a month or so ago now this... give the guy some decent opposition.

Weird fight. Mosley is nowhere near World level anymore so doesn't merit a shot. If he'd have been anywhere near his best, his style would have caused Alvarez a lot of problems.

But then again, Malignaggi's looking a bit old these days too. This fight for a 'World' title would be a disappointment IMO

Strangely interesting fight, but in all honesty I'd rather see Mosley stay put in his rocking chair.
