Mercito Gesta will return to the ring in late July at a venue to be determined in a 10-rounder against junior welterweight contender Olusegun Ajose, according to Gesta's manager, Vince Parra.

Tough fight for Gesta. It'll be good to see the winner of this get back in the title mix. I fancy Ajose to win this though.

Ajose is gonna whip Gesta's ass. I like Gesta, but he needs a year about 4-5 fights fighting elusive but beatable guys. He doesn't know how to cut off the ring. He also can't defend. He has too many holes in his game to fight a guy like Ajose.
