how do you think Canelo would've fared against Paul Williams?
I think Williams activity would have given him real problems.
Wow, what a fucking joke of a fight on the cards. I had Trout winning, but whatever, it's boxing. Wasn't a robbery with Canelo winning but the scores were a fucking joke. Fuck boxing.
Went exactly as I thought it would, a lot of close rounds with everything going Alvarez' direction in the scoring. Thought Trout won but was pretty close, wouldn't call it a robbery but even if Trout had boxed his head off he wouldn't have gotten anything without a KO.
It wasnt a robbery in the sense that canelo won but more with the fact that he was always going to win
I watched this afternoon without knowing the result, with russian commentary and no idea of the scoring. I had Trout winning round 6, and 9-12, but the early rounds were hard to choose. I gave them to Alvarez, but could understand 1 or 2 going the other way.
I'd say the result is fair enough, but I think the margin was too wide on 2 of the cards.
I thought Alvarez seemed to have the power to hurt Trout (evidenced by the knockdown) but Trout didn't seem to be able to cause the same amount of damage. He recovered well and put up a great fight, taking over as Alvarez seemed to tire.

Trout needed that stoppage.
the fury fight was just full of :kwonwut moments, from his non exsistent defence, the poor punch resistence, the cringe worthy antics, which included taking the mic and signing to the crowd :patsch

im surprised trout didnt make abit more of a fuss about the scoring, seemed abit weird, like he was in de la hoya's pocket of something... i thing either could of won by a round or a draw...

lol @ steve saying something whats de la hoya staring at, he like her tights or something hahaha...
