FORMER world middleweight and super middleweight champion Nigel Benn is boxing an exhibition bout in Middlesbrough on Saturday, December 8.

The Dark Destroyer, now 48, will have a move around with local white collar boxing promoter and former national amateur champion Tony Robinson at Eston Sports Academy.
The exhibition headlines an eight-bout show being sanctioned by the European Boxing Federation.
Benn's appearance is already causing a stir, with 16 of the 20 available VIP tables already taken.
The hard-hitting 90s icon is boxing four farewell exhibitions around the country before he emigrates to Australia on December 17 to become a preacher.
Promoter Robinson, 35, won a national Boys' Clubs title and Daily Star Golden Gloves title during a 58-bout amateur career with Wellington ABC.

But he said trading blows with Benn, albeit under non-competitive conditions, will top the lot.
He said: "I've been in boxing since I was eight and grew up watching Nigel Benn's fights, so to be sharing a ring with him will be the best thing I've ever done.
"I'm planning to make a big deal of his ring walk."
Tickets are £35 standard and £600 for a VIP table of 10, available from Tony Robinson on 07899 940230.
NEWLY-formed Pallister Park ABC got their season off to a flyer with two wins from three away outings.
