After the Gerber decision this bout is more credible. It is on par with Audley/Harrison and would enable Price to get the belt for keeps and he could vacate thereafter. A Chisora fight would be better, but I cannot see Delboy risking another blow out on top of his previous defeats.

Price/Fury/Haye remind me of the the middle weight elite all pushing for World title fights and leaving the next generation to fight for the domestic belts.

Does Sprott still hold a BBBC license? i read something before that after the Thompson fight the Price camp are taking him on tour so i assume they mean the states. Although i get the impression Price wants the belt for keeps.

Why don't they do Price v Towers, he can put the Brit belt on the line, Towers can put the EBU on the line, both are unbeaten Brits, he should win comfortably to get the belt for keeps and it moves him onto European level at the same time and away from the domestic scene. i'm sure Hatton/Towers would take it if the moneys right as it gives them an opportunity to fight someone who is well know and in turn bringing some attention to themselves and theirs nothing better going out there for them.
