The most important aspect of the game is what stats are going to be recorded for a fighter. My intention is to tweak a few stats from v1 and then add some more;

Skill Stats:
Jab
Accuracy
Timing
Head Movement
Guard/Blocking (replace defence which is too broad)
Footwork
Clinching
Finishing

Physical Stats:
Power
Handspeed
Reflexes (new)
Stamina
Chin
Body Toughness
Skin Toughness
Strength (new)
Rehydration (existing but more closely linked to weight draining)

Mental Stats:
Ring IQ
Heart
Composure
Fouling
Workrate
Training
Confidence
Determination (new)
Morale (new - different to the text morale we currently have describing relationship with promoter/trainer - this will be actually a number determining how they are feeling
in general. low morale could be caused by a fighter losing a lot, not meeting his targets, not making the money he thinks he deserves, not getting to fight in front of his fans etc. this could reduce effectiveness in the ring)
Gameplan (new, separating from ring iq, this being the ability to follow instructions)
Loyalty (new) - loyal fighters will be more forgiving when things are not going well.
Media - how good is this fighter at selling himself and giving a good showing in front of the media? does he turn into a boring monotone stuttering wreck in front of the camera, or is he Audley Harrison?

Invisible Stats:
Pro Experience
Style Experience (for each stance and style)
Weight Drain

Progress Stats:
Class
Local Popularity (how popular in home and base regions)
National Popularity (how popular in home and based country)
International Popularity (general international pop or reknown)
(these three instead of single pop stat)

Personal Details:
Name
Hometown
Current Base
Trainer (can only pick from region based)
Trainer Relationship
Primary Stance
Primary Style (Boxer, Boxer-Puncher, Counter-Puncher, Swarmer, Brawler and new In-Fighter)
New- additional styles and stances can be learned to varying degrees of effectiveness.
DOB
Height
Reach
Primary Language (new)
Additional languages + fluency (new) - these two language stats impact training effectiveness if different from trainers language + how well they settle in a new country
Promoter Relationship (what he thinks of you)
Personality (NEW) one of a few predefined types which will determine what makes him happy or pisses him off. e.g. greedy (doesnt care who he fights, just wants the most money possible), warrior (wants to test himself in every fight), ambitious (very much driven by titles and high rankings), cautious (doesnt want to jump ahead too quickly - wants all his learning fights and will step up when he is sure he is ready)
