In 1943 Curtis Sheppard KO'd Joey Maxim, the only KO loss in Maxim's 116 fight career.

As far as I can tell Curtis Sheppard is still alive and is 102 years old.
Am I misinformed? Let me know if your research finds different.

According to what I found, he died on May 10, 1984 at age 63. He KO'd Maxim on 3-10-43 and fought him again 21 days later and lost by decision to him.
