B-Hop turned a raging tiger into a capon. Never let him get set. Made it look easy. Showed the full bag of veteran tricks. Should be required viewing for young fighters.

Picked Cloud before hand, but oohed 'n aahed at B-Hops mastery.

As the rounds wore on, Cloud could rightly have sung: "I CAN'T GET STARTED WITH YOU"

Agree Keith Thurman's the goods: Great hand speed, combos, wicked body punching 'n leverage. (plus media wise, he shows Andre Ward potential) He beat the hell out of a gritty veteran with a clam defense who kept marching forward under withering fire.

Zavek didn't have a whiff of Thurman's talent, but he showed the courage of a lion; and may have exposed Thurman's Achiles Heel: a looping right over Thurman's low left, after jabbing.

An opponent with a heavy right might make Thurman look like Louis against Schmeling in their first fight.

I didn't watch the fight, but to think that a guy almost 50 (remember when everyone was talking about how he was almost 40 and must be ready to retire) is able to consistently beat guys towards the top of the game.

Incredible. Although, this is more of a paper titlist (to the extent that Dawson beat him, and is thus the real champion at LHW), but his previous record over Pascal was 100% legit. Fantastic stuff.

The thing that's got me is how Hopkins was able to cut Clouds work rate down to throwing only 24 punches IN ROUND ONE. So many fighters go in confident in their game plans and he just takes that away instantly.

the fact he can make so many fighters in their primes with physical gifts greater than his just give them up never ceases to amaze, Cloud is the latest in a long line
