Actually, Source: Richard Schaffer>Source: wingyboxingnews
Yeah okay.
He's only just gone up to lightweight and is already 'ducking' the top guys from the division above?Wow it's hardly a duck, Richard Schaefer will hardly be telling the whole truth and Burns isn't in a position to accept a fight just yet anyway is he? How about Broner ducking any challenge from Matthysse & Garcia?
:dealWhatever reason this fight isnt being made it's clearly on Burns'Warren's end. Burns ges the benefit of the doubt a lot around here and on the esb brit forum because he's a popular guy on these shores. I doubt people would be so understanding if it was Broner's promoter causing the issues.
And now Broner and GBP have moved on and he is fighting Paulie. He's only just gone up to lightweight and is already 'ducking' the top guys from the division above?
It seems you're holding him to very different standards compared to Burns. If Broner is 'ducking' them guys then surely the same could be said about Burns, who's actually been at lightweight for longer (due to him moving there to avoid the Broner fight...).
I really like Burns but the way him and his team get a free pass just cos he's a nice guy and British is nad.
So that gives Burns' team a free pass to not fight Broner? (Or anyone for that matter) I don't get it.Broner ducked Uchiyama. He wanted no part of the Japanese KO artist.
Of course not, I'm just trolling all those who are coming to decisions on ducking without really knowing whats going on behind the scenes. So that gives Burns' team a free pass to not fight Broner? (Or anyone for that matter) I don't get it.
Not at all if Burns moved up in weight without trying to force the Broner fight hard then I would say it's a duck, let alone if he skipped the weight division above that actually presents some real challenges for him, with fighters in the same promotional stable, it just doesn't make sense. Frankly it now looks like a promoter who shan't be named is the reason this fight hasn't happened. In a totally unrelated story it looks like Ricky genuinely said he wanted a big fight before a Broner undisputed showdown, thought he was getting it, didnt and is pissed off. I believe he wants Broner and Broner wants Burns, but I think Burns wants to unify with Vazquez first if possible to maximise his earning potential, which sells it better for Broner and GBP and if Broner wanted to unify first I'd love that, Broner-Abril & Burns-Vazquez are two interesting fights and the winners fighting clears up a division. He's only just gone up to lightweight and is already 'ducking' the top guys from the division above?

This is GBP and not K2. Golden Boys track record in making fights is second to none and that's because they offer good deals to the fighters.no one can call duck on the fact that offers were made when we have no idea of what was in the offers, could of been a rematch clause that they keep fighting until broner wins and burns gives ten percent of his purse to broner mother if he wins (100% what the offer was).
