I picked Rios to win the last fight, picked the correct round as well. I see Alvarado being taken out again, he took worrying amounts of punishment in that bout (Rios did also, mind).

I thought it was the best fight of 2012, truly a great battle.

Good fight, nothing better for Rios to do to be honest - he's with TR so Matthysse, Garcia and Khan are out of the equation as are guys like Maidana and Alexander (who have moved up anyway). Judah, Holt and Peterson are tield up and Guzman and Allakverdiev are proposed for a rematch so Alvarado II is probably the best fight for him (unless Abril wants to move north).

Same result though, this time in five.

I might be the odd one out but I can't wait to see this. I actually think Alvarado was winning until he got stopped so certainly no complaining from me.

I think Rios does the job quicker. Alvarado will be more respectful, but he'll walk onto something again by the half way stage
