He didn't look that bad last night but it's still a good call to retire now. He was competitive but well beaten in the end again. Congrats on the great career to Glen :bbb

very good career from a man never content with being a trial horse.
I think the closeness of his losses is a bit overstated as none of the ones I've seen I'd have scored the other way (hopkins, ottke, woods, tarver, dawson, cloud, froch, bute and last night). Actually his win over Tarver I did score the other way.
That aside he was a good man who fought at a consistent level for a very long time (always seeming to win round about half the rounds no matter who he faced). Willing to fight the best time after time and never being shown up is the best way I can describe him.

I scored Tarver-Johnson one for Tarver myself, think it was 115-113.

Good to see him call it a day when he was relatively still at the top. Still giving it his all but that was one of the first times he actually looked spent in the ring last night and it wasn't the typical all out tiring sort of fight Glen usually has. Off his loses there probably is a good few disputed decisions and the odd robbery.
Wasn't the easiest end to a career for a 40+ year old Dawson, Mack, Cloud, Green, Froch, Bute and then that Polish fella last night no wonder why he looked done after that run of fights.
