Actually with the knockdown the best he could've hoped for was a draw.Apparently judges had hatton up by one or two..Even if it had gone distance and he'd of won the writing was on the wall.. He's not at the level where he wants to compete.. In the press conference he seemed to admit that.. I just hope he means it.
Me too.I know it's all irrelevant but out of interest, who did people score the 9th too pre knockdown? Think I had it to Hatton
I turned to my brother, who I was at the MEN with, in either the sixth or seventh and said that it almost seemed that the writing was on the wall. Ironic how the shot that finished Ricky's career is the same one he has used to put away many of his opponents. :-(Does no one else think after 7 it looked like hatton was going to get stopped. I was saying to Kally who i watched it with from about round 7 that i thought Hatton was going to get stopped in the next few rounds.
about halfway through the fifth i said to my mate he'd get stopped, he just looked fucked at one point and never got a second wind and was eating shots coming forward after that, didnt think a bodyshot like that would do it though i thought the ref would stop him at some pointDoes no one else think after 7 it looked like hatton was going to get stopped. I was saying to Kally who i watched it with from about round 7 that i thought Hatton was going to get stopped in the next few rounds.
Me too.
He would have gone 86-85 up for me.
Yeah Hatton wasn't doing too bad in the 9th really. Even though Senchenko started to plant his feet more and started to control the fight, the knockout kinda came out of nowhere.
:good thanksI had it even going into the ninth. Same as many others, I have rounds one through four to Ricky, and the next four going to Senchenko. I also had Hatton winning the ninth prior to that body shot. Was gutted.
