Rico Ramos recently dropped a close but clear decision on Friday to an average, yet game Mexican to take his record to 1-3 since he lost his 'world' super bantamweight title to Guillermo Rigondeaux. And let's be honest, he has never looked that great since stepping up to contender level, being pushed hard by solid gatekeepr Alejandro Valdez and comfortably outboxed by speed merchant Akifumi Shimoda before pulling out a 7th round stoppage.

Would now be the perfect time to get Ramos over foe Lee Selby?

He has name recognition, former belt holder, still a nice looking record, doesn't look strong at featherweight, wouldn't be too expensive to bring over, and is only a slight step up for Selby while it would bring him a lot more international coverage.

Yeah, Ramos is pretty small and weak at featherweight, I thnk Selby would beat him up on size and strength alone, especially as Ramos is so gunshy when he gets hit.
