..........that Cristian Mijares ain't THE man? Huh?
Bias I know, but personally I thought he was far more comfortable than Azteca's scoring suggested. Not sure if I agree with 5-7 going to Rafa, seemed like a lot of the time the commentary were going mental for flurries from Marquez wherein he'd only land 1-2 glancing shots, while Mijares was coming right back with clean counters in between.
Seems like Rafa is going to retire now though, which is probably for the best. Albeit it's quite sad to see him go. On the bright side Mijares is now establishing himself a real player again it seems. His win streak is impressive numerically but since Topo Rosas he hadn't really beaten anyone of note. Granted, Rafa's name probably holds more weight than his ability nowadays, but still.:| Hopefully he'll be up against a top 10-ish dude soon enough.
