Prince Patel has done very well here. He has no promoter or prime time manager in his corner but has managed to navigate the matrix and play the game so things are in his favor. I remember saying back in my early hardcore days as a young teenager.. why don't more fighters go the IBO route? I remember the Australian Danny Green managing to blag fights with Roy Jones in 2009 and a fight with Antonio Tarver in 2011. He fought people who were no threat to him in between but was making good money and doing good crowds in his back yard. It's one reason why I never had any issues with Eubank picking up his titles. Pick and choose older established fighters and make easy money. It was the route Haye was going before Thompson shut that down and then SKY shut the IBO down.
