Imagine that there's a HOF for fighters who will not or probably not get in the IBHOF or WBHOF.

As an example you could put in say Jonathon Thaxton or the perrenial loser Peter Buckley for being a exciting fighter in the case of Thaxton or a true road warrior in Buckley's case, Who would put in?

I would put in Dennis Andries - He had little boxing skill & could be ugly to watch but won Light Heavy titles for Southern Area, British & 3 x WBC champ. Also won British Cruiser title. One of my favourite's of all time.

Kirkland Laing would be ideal for this sort of thing.

I remember my dad ranting and raving about Santos Laciar when he came over here and was robbed blind by the ref against Magri.

Laciar went on to have a pretty decent career, but he is not going into the IBHOF. His brilliant Mexican rival Gilberto Roman has not either, so perhaps both can go into this one.

I've always been a pretty big Emanuel Augustus advocate, he's almost the default answer when it comes to relatively modern dudes with deceivingly ugly records such as his. His general demeanour alone was worthy of my appreciation.:D

I suspect Gerry Penalosa may end up getting inducted at some point, rightly or wrongly(either way he won't be a first ballot HOF'er). But if not I'm sure a place in here will suffice.

Pierre Fourie. It was his misfortune to be in the same era as Bob Foster and Victor Galindez. He lost all four title challenges (fought both twice) but he went to his grave convinced he won the last fight with Galindez, and many who saw that fight agreed. Neither Foster nor Galindez could put any hurt on him in a combined 60 rounds, which says a lot about about his defensive skill and toughness. He was a little small for a light heavy and today would certainly be a super middle.

In today's era with cheap-as-chips titles and a 168 division, there is no question in my mind that he would have been a champion, and a good one.
