Half of Price's opponents have had winning record by the way. He took Tor Hamer's '0' for starters. But yes, I believe so. Nothing against Wilder at all, I'd like him to do well but he's gonna have to step up soon but I'm not sure how ready he even is. Eventually he's gonna be in with somebody who can bang and who'll get to his chin which looks very shaky with his frame (I haven't seen him for a few fights though, I see he's packed on 10-15lbs, not sure what he looks like now, I can only hope that's all gone on his Bambi legs).Wilder should keep his '0' in 2012 as his next opponent kelvin Price has not beaten anyone with a winning record. However will he survive a breakout fight in 2012?
Who would you put him in with?
The other hope Jennings is out in a few weeks time too. It's grim.I napped Mitchell about 18 months ago when he was still struggling to beat guys even with all the physical advantages. Shame really, a good Yank HW would be good for business.
He is 40 years old and has won some minor belts against bumsAmir Mansour looked good i thought, not exactly the most skillful but he was solid and could punch.
His record ain't that bad compared to the other current American HW'sThe other hope Jennings is out in a few weeks time too. It's grim.
I have changed the thread title as other HW's have been discussed and I thought i would open it up to debate the current HW's over the pondWilder should keep his '0' in 2012 as his next opponent kelvin Price has not beaten anyone with a winning record. UK HWs KO1 US HWsI thought Mitchell would amount to something, but his chin is awful. The Witherspoon win rasied a few question marks for me but I expected him to walk through Banks.
I'm not sold on their heavyweights at all at the moment. Infact, given the right experience, I'm more hopeful of our own heavys.:conf
