We all love a good prediction, but which ones are you most proud of?

I picked Daniel Geale to outpoint Felix Sturm in Germany - I TOLD YOU SO

I'm sure there's others, but I can't think now.

What is your best prediction?

I predicted Burns to beat Kevin Mitchell.
I fucking knew someone would put that!

Burns was a big favourite, so it doesnt count :yep

(And no-one say Katsidis over Mitchell)

I'm not actually sure when the last time I boldly picked an underdog to win was. I probably don't have a good record at calling upsets. I kind of fancied Danny Garcia to stop Khan how he did, but never really backed my instinct fully.

Maybe Froch/Bute. But he was hardly much of an outsider.

I can't remember what I thought pre Pac vs de la Hoya actually. I was convinced that Manny would destroy Hatton though (but again, he was pretty clear favourite anyway)

I remember telling someone that even when Oscar knocks Pacquiao out, Pac should still be considered the best fighter in the world.

I said Paulie would beat Senchenko. I'm pretty sure he was the underdog

i called froch over bute by ko, burns over katsidis, froch over abraham, i remember getting decent odds for chisora over sexton in the rematch actually, fuck knows why he was the underdog, a couple more i cant quite remember and i also picked macklin over sturm (im still having that, not close imo)

on the other hand i was convinced that david haye would use his speed to get past wlads jab and smash his chin, convinced!

Froch over Abraham. Doesn't seem a tough pick now, but most were picking Arthur by KO.

:good

I remember arguing with some muppet back on eastside who tried telling me that Abraham would outbox Froch
Fucking hell.

I called the group stage spot on when the line-up was announced. Froch to beat Dirrell and Abraham, but lose to Kessler. Always felt Froch was too long and rangy, and that his defence was hugely underrated, for Abraham to land consistently enough to knock him out. Barring several knock downs, I couldn't see Arthur winning a decision at all without a huge robbery.

Yeah, Froch gets no credit for that these days but pre-fight I remember it being about even with the bookies iirc.
I think Abraham was actually a warm favourite heading in to the fight. Great win that often gets overlooked nowadays with how Abraham's career has panned out.
