Sad but to be honest, it's all very purposely dramatic. It's look like somebodies gone in there and chucked a load of shit about to make it look worse than it probably is just for effect, like hanging that dirty glove over the top rope. I find it hard to believe that was just there.

Still hard to see, hopefully it's just a case of it temporarily closing down to save it from being vandalised and looted whilst they sort out future plans. The Kronk was Steward's legacy, I don't believe his sister would just let that fizzle out, especially when there are people like Hearns about offering to take it over full-time.

yeah it is a bit dramatic like you say. It's probably been done to entise new investers to take it over. Hopefully it has the desired effect

It's a bit mental whichever way you look at it. This might sound harsh but if they wanted to use the Kronk name properly then this would be the perfect time to do it as people are more emotionally invested and would be more willing to invest in the gym/product now whereas six months down the line the time will have probably passed.

Also more importantly I'm sure Manny wouldn't have wanted the gym to be shut down immediately after he died (I could be wrong of course).

If they had anything about them (both emotionally and mentally) they would start a re-building program, maybes get a nice statue of Manny built outside and re-build the gym as a community project with guys like Hearns and Klitschkos involved in some way or another. It would be a nice legacy and would probably be very successful as well.

Well there's Banks and Manny's assistant (can't think of his name, the dude that trains Eddie Chambers.)

James Ali Bashir I think.

I reckon Banks' might call it a day if he loses to Mitchell convincingly and train guys full-time. Hopefully anyway, I think he can add a lot more to boxing in that role.

Steward's sister was saying she was stripping the place to stop opportunists and thieves. Said she was trying to 'protect his legacy'. The Kronk was his legacy and it's been ripped to pieces now. Huge shame.
