Calderon is one of the best fighters in the lower weight classes this era has produced, a fantastic fighter and one of the best of the last decade. Superb head movement, footwork and counterpunching ability. In his prime he was excellent. Farewell Ivan.

You lot are some swaggots I tell ya. Except Chacal and Sports obviously.
If I had anywhere near the interest in boxing I had even a few months ago I'd be truly gutted to see this day. I'm glad he's decided not to keep going though, he should've done so sooner when it was painfully evident that his legs were gone. He almost lost to Felipe Rivas for the love of god, going out on a win there would've been ideal for me, watching the Fuentes ending was awful. He looked brilliant(probably hyperbole, but he was genuinely impressive for the first 3/4 rounds I thought. That was on the undercard of WV2-Oquendo by the way, pretty good fight that I haven't seen many talk about) up until the size difference caught up with him and he was left a sitting duck in there.
Props to the dude though, definitely one of my favourite fighters from my era, who's legacy would likely be greater if the divisions he fought in weren't so underwhelming for the most part. His style was my kind of thing. WAR Iron Boy.
