The worst, high-profile card of the year

Sorry for the negativity but looking at the Price/Skelton and Heffron/Vassell card got me thinking about similar poor cards.

Price v Skelton - Is a complete mismatch which most anticipate will be over before round 5/6
Williams v Goodings - Chief support. Ten rounder. Admittedly late replacement for Hamilton in a British title fight.
The rest = 4/6 rounders featuring local guys, the pick being Tony Dodson.

Maloney is clearly not stupid by packing the card with locals to maximise ticket sales for less money.

Vassell v Heffron - good CW title fight
Flintoff v Dawson - got that special attraction
Saunders v McDonagh - decent yet predictable little fight, probably go the distance with a shutout Saunders win.

Any other poor cards? Think Mitchell/Lora was poor wasn't it?

(@chatty Goodings any good?)

To be fair to Maloney, the Price card lost Whyte-McDermott as well otherwise it would have been a good show

I remember the 1st Box Academy show being dire.
I'm worried about the Vassell fight because they have never advertised it and did say their focus would be the Price bill. Can't imagine they won't at least show it in the highlight package in the days after.
We are getting it:-

The Full Running Order

6.50pm - Joe Selkirk v TBA

7.35pm - Steve Williams v Kirk Goodings (Vacant British Light-Welter)

8.30pm - Denton Vassell v Ronnie Heffron (Commonwealth Welter)

9.35pm - David Price v Matt Skelton (British & Common Heavyweight)

10.15pm - Bradley Saunders v Peter McDonagh

10.30pm onwards - Freddie Flintoff v Richard Dawson
