This isn't a challenge, just an offer of technical debate. What do you see Froch doing that will trouble Hopkins? It'll be a very scrappy fight but I think Froch can just edge it.
:nono I think Froch is a lot less basic than people think. He does stuff that's quite hard to control, his hands come from weird angles and he attacks (moreso nowadays) in effective bursts with combinations and would be quite physical with BHop. However, i think this would be a close fight as we've seen BHop can't handle physical big punchers and has the footwork to move out the way of Froch's raiding tactics if needed, so I think both could win, I'd favour Froch but then I always do
Did you catch his last night? Are we talking as in right now?
Hopkins for me. Froch doesn't have the speed to make it a case of him being too physically gifted for him. When it comes to boxing there's no competition at all IMO. Hopkins is past prime though, I thought it showed against Pascal even though I had hi winning both fights. Doesn't look the same to me anymore
That's an understatement if ever there was one. He's 48 years old mate. Are we talking as in right now?

Bhop is the bigger man in there. If Hopkins tries to get physical he'll eat some headbutts and lowblows while being moved in a clinch. Froch loves the odd rabbit punch so expect Hopkins to play on that to buy time and frustrate Froch more. The thing about Froch's awkward angles is that he's there to be countered while trying to throw from them.:nono I think Froch is a lot less basic than people think. true and im probably blinkered by my love for Froch which i'll admit to right away, but I really think people still sleep on Froch, Bute was meant to use his great handspeed and fundamentals to counter the shit of Froch, but because he's so unique it's a lot harder when you're in there. He's hard to catch clean even though he looks open, he's got his shoulders up and his hands and arms help protect him more than it seems, plus he's always in a position to throw unless you're on him. BHop would have to make it like the Ward fight, which he's capable of, but I feel Froch is a better fighter than he was there and wouldn't let himself be tied up quite as much. However, I doubt he could stop it completely, and BHop could use his feet to find better angles than most have on Carl so this is a 50/50, and if I was Carl I wouldn't take it, too much risk for very little reward, if Carl is going to fight any light heavy he's better off seeing if Pascal gets Dawson and wins and fighting Pascal to become the real champ at 175.Bhop is the bigger man in there. Bute as unproven as shit, Hopkins is not.
