He's one of the most exciting boxers in the world for me. I felt he was a bit fortunate to get the decision against Firat Arslan last time out and could've lost to Ola Afolabi as well before that but on the other side many felt he deserved the nod against Povetkin last year.

He fights Afolabi for the 3rd time on June 8th in what should be another great fight.

Are you a fan of Huck? (How can you not be!) Do you think he'll beat Ola to round off their trilogy and what other fights would you like to see him take part in?

Always fun to watch. I love his caveman style right straight, right straight, right straight, right straight, right straight, right straight, oops left, right straight, right straight, right straight, right straight combos.
Also he seems to get him in lots of controversial decisions (both ways) when he can't put his opponent away. spectacle garanteed.

Big fan of the Huckster, though limited he's achieved a lot through pure determination (& the occasional dodgy scorecard)

He's almost always fun to watch & the Povetkin fight was a tremendous effort against a top heavyweight.

He is starting to look battle-worn & badly underperformed last time out against Arslan, Huck-Afolabi 3 might be his last major fight :-(

I think he's been in too many wars by now. It seems as if he's already declining. But damn, this guy has heart. I think Afolabi will beat him, he might stop him this time as well.

Yep, I also think that he's over the hill. Been in too many wars.

He's the definition of substance over style. As one dimensional as they come, practically no boxing skills at world class level, mediocre speed and an average high guard defense. Makes up for it with brute strength, heart, chin and usually a solid workrate. I think he'd struggle and probably lose to all the other champions, but he's definitely a fun fighter, and im a fan. He's been on a receiving end of a few dodgy decisions though, and his luck could run out soon, possibly against Afolabai in their third fight, because he's a good fighter in his won right.

He's a fucking beast. Not terribly refined, but a rugged warrior willing to slug it out and constantly deliver an exciting fight? Can only be good.

As a few others have stated you got to love his exciting style and the determination he brings every time he's in the ring. At the same time i think he's had the benifit of the doubt as of recent far to often.

I'm not seeing Ola stopping Huck tbh. In their previous two meetings he's had his success when he's kept his discipline and out boxed Huck; whether at range or coming inside - not like that, perves - and getting his work in while avoiding Huck's wilder punches. As the second fight wore on that went out the window. I know it's partly down to conditioning as others have mentioned before, but truthfully I don't think Ola can keep his discipline for 12 rounds. He just comes across as someone that is more than happy to get into a fight, imo, and that plays into Huck's hands. Sure, Ola can punch, but he wasn't greatly hurting Huck in that last fight. Huck's got some chin on him, and I just don't see Ola stopping him. I'm expecting this to be a typical Huck fight: his opponent has success old boxing him, Huck comes back and drags them into a brawl, goes to the scorecards with Huck winning a close decision.

As for how he'd do against the other champions? If Jones were to fight him this year I reckon he'd be able to take Huck's best shots and wear him down with his accuracy; Jones isn't as likely to get drawn into a brawl with Huck so, while it'd be a close one, I'd see Jones taking it on points. Huck won't fight Hernandez though as they're bessie mates, but if they did I think he'd drop Huck and eventually stop him. Wlodarczyk is the one alphabelt holder I can see Huck having success with.

I think he's won most of those close fights tbh. I thought the "Ola was robbed!" stuff on some forums was a complete overreaction, and I had it a draw; there was a round or two in it at most, and it could have went either way. That's just Huck's style; he's crude and a brawler, and his fights always wind up close. It often looks worse for him as when he's getting outclassed he's really getting outclassed, but he usually lands the harder and more effective punches.

One of the most exciting boxers right now but his style got exposed abit by Arslan, once Huck realised the guy wasnt gonna be scared when Huck threw he didnt know what to do
