I wouldn't necessarily really want to see the fight but Wilder vs Johnson would be interesting. Certainly a different challenge for Deontay anyway.Emerging heavyweight Tyson Fury has blasted fellow-undefeated fighter Deontay Wilder amidst speculation that the two could be set to collide sometime in the next twelve months.
American Wilder recently dispatched of British flop Audley Harrison's career with a first round stoppage and has since been linked to a fight with Fury, who was less than receptive to the idea after watching the 'Bronze Bomber' in action.
"Wilder is s***!" fired Fury. "He will never make a top level fighter because he is 28-0 and the best name on his record is Audley Harrison, who was 43 and a joke!
"He should fight Kevin Johnson as he is the best US heavyweight out there and my bet is he (Johnson) would KO him in eight."
Fury, 24, is hoping to return to the ring in September or October on the back on his Stateside victory over Steve Cunningham last month, with Kubrat Pulev and David Haye both names in frame,
The EBU have recently put forward Fury as the mandatory challenger to Pulev, who has held the European title for the past twelve months. 6ft 9ins Fury, who is 21-0 with 15 stoppages, was due to face Pulev last year and may well attempt to bring the Bulgarian to Ireland or the UK for his next bout.
