Emerging heavyweight Tyson Fury has blasted fellow-undefeated fighter Deontay Wilder amidst speculation that the two could be set to collide sometime in the next twelve months.

American Wilder recently dispatched of British flop Audley Harrison's career with a first round stoppage and has since been linked to a fight with Fury, who was less than receptive to the idea after watching the 'Bronze Bomber' in action.

"Wilder is s***!" fired Fury. "He will never make a top level fighter because he is 28-0 and the best name on his record is Audley Harrison, who was 43 and a joke!

"He should fight Kevin Johnson as he is the best US heavyweight out there and my bet is he (Johnson) would KO him in eight."

Fury, 24, is hoping to return to the ring in September or October on the back on his Stateside victory over Steve Cunningham last month, with Kubrat Pulev and David Haye both names in frame,

The EBU have recently put forward Fury as the mandatory challenger to Pulev, who has held the European title for the past twelve months. 6ft 9ins Fury, who is 21-0 with 15 stoppages, was due to face Pulev last year and may well attempt to bring the Bulgarian to Ireland or the UK for his next bout.

I wouldn't necessarily really want to see the fight but Wilder vs Johnson would be interesting. Certainly a different challenge for Deontay anyway.

So it looks like Chisora Wilder really isn't happening? Shame that. I suspect Johnson would fight similarly to the way he fought Fury (not letting his hands go, surviving) still, a step up in class for him so why not I guess.

Fury has been at it on twitter again, abusing Froch, Barker, Khan and Haye. He is a classless moron at times but I have to admit I find him very funny.

If Wilder is that shitty, why doesn't he KO him himself?! :rolleyes

I also believe Wilder would be stopped once he fought a real threat, but it's pretty clear Fury doesn't want to take the risk himself and wants someone else to do the dirty work for him (Floyd style). And by the way (current) Safetypin is far from the best US boxer out there atm.

Johnson only doesn't throw back against Volume, against a guy that stands there just trying to throw a right hand every once in a while he'd be interesting. I know people like to shit on Johnson because Fury beat him, but he's actually a good boxer

The reason fury wont fight him is because it'll do nothing for his career. He's one fight away from a world title

No he's not. All he does is throw's an occasional jab to the body, then survives for 12 rounds.

Of course it does. He'll be the one ending the US biggest hypejob and dangerous style matchup (looping and far reaching right hands from a big puncher).
What it really is, is a big risk / medium reward kinda fight. So not smart to take at this point of his career, just like a domestic fight with Price.

But trashtalking about someone who you know you gonna avoid (Price, Haye, Windmiller) is a bit sad.

Fury takes the piss. He's fucking lucky he hasn't got a loss on his record by this point - a fit Chisora would've battered him and McDonut gave him all he could handle.
