These Rankings are reflective of performances in fights, not necessarily official scoring, to mitigate the impact of poor judging.
Be good to see a lot of input now there in a new site. Fighters can only be ranked in one division and must have had a fight within the lasy 365 days, unless a fight is lined up.

I don't like the idea of ranking people on how they did in the fights up until they lost. Wins and losses are what determine rankings where I come from, not dominating fights but losing them. We're getting too caught up in aesthetics if we do that. Effectiveness is what counts ultimately.
I wasn't talking about Molina specifically, I was just reading the first few posts before that even came up and thought I'd give my opinion on the ranking infrastructure.
@Teeto knows. :deal

We're verging on TKO6 category now, with you lot playing the Vitali fans.
I feel you brother
so are you actually disagreeing with my post on a general basis @Roe or not? You're jumping all over me with shit gifs and pics when I just said I wasn't even talking about Molina, I wasn't even talking about DQ's, I was talking about ranking guys on doing ok but losing, I think that's stupid. I was talking about the first few posts in the thread.

And your shit post here doesn't even apply to me. I don't rate fighters on the fake truth. I rate fighters on what I believe to be the truth. I rate on how I thought the fight went, not how some corrupt judges thought a fight went, like in Pac-Bradley. That's a Pac win in my book, because I will not conform,

Rating Molina over Kirklaind is fine by me.

My post was referring to this talk about fighters losing fights but getting ranked well for it because they did ok before they lost the fight. That's not my thing, we're getting into aesthetics if we do that and are leaving everything open to justification.

Get off your high horse now you wank stain

Because of the reasonable doubt of what the result would have been in Kirkland-Molina, I don't think you can really use the fight as a gauge to rank either of them.

If you had Kirkland ahead of Molina beforehand or vice versa, then I think that is what you should go with.
best post of the thread, that's the end of it as far as I'm concerned

enter @Roe with a shit gif or pic that's shit
Yeah I agree with you teeto I'm just being a twat :good
I hope Molina bums you mate
Who gives a shit of the bell rang? Fighter cannot be saved by the bell in any round, cornerman entered the ring while his fighter was getting a count, clear breach of the rules, DQ is the right call. Kirkland above Molina.

Oh, or are we just choosing which rules we take into consideration now? :-(
this is a good point, I agree tbh, I would put Kirkland over him due to a technicality more than anything else but remain conscious of how the fight unfolded
We weren't really talking about that in general though. Just the Kirkland/Molina situation. What's your take on that teets? Who should be higher?

Edit: forget that, just saw your above post :good
yeah, it's one of them where I wouldn't fault you for rating Molina above him, as long as you had him above him going into the fight
@Wallet

Barker is fine at number 11 for me, I would put Golovkin above Macklin personally. I don't have too much of a beef with this division because the nature of the top 15 is not that there are any outright injustices in terms of people having bona fide claims to be over one another.
I don't think you can put anyone else ahead of Tim Bradley at WW.

Other fighters rankings have improved after losses. Darren Barker for example. I don't see the issue with that. The 0 is not everything.
I never mentioned a 0. That is not my logic, I don't rate fighters on record, I rate them on how effective they are and have been in recent outings, very simple logic
yeh. with that logic i still think bradley is no.2 in a weak WW division
I agree mate, I would have had him at 2 (if I'd had a list) before he fought Pac, and then we all watched him lost to him, so he shouldn't be knocked down to below number 2, because of the nature of the division at present

good lists btw rob, great thread
